Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Provider and scope

The Snowify service is provided by JMDES s. r. o., Gagarinova 16411/7C, 821 05 Bratislava – Ružinov, Slovakia, company ID (IČO): 57 553 343, tax ID (DIČ): 2122824891, VAT ID: SK2122824891, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III Municipal Court, section Sro, file no. 198420/B. (the “Provider”).

These terms govern the use of Snowify by ski schools, rentals and other businesses (the “Customer”). The service is intended for businesses only; the relationship is governed by the Slovak Commercial Code and consumer protection rules do not apply.

2. Definitions

  • Service: the Snowify web application for managing a ski school and rental, including the instructor app.
  • Customer: the school or other business that ordered the Service.
  • Location: a Customer's branch of type school or rental with its own cash register.
  • User: an employee or contractor of the Customer with access to the Service (admin, manager, booker, instructor).
  • Client: a customer of the school recorded in the Service.
  • Season: the subscription period stated in the order and invoice.

3. Order and access

  • The Customer orders the Service by e-mail, through the website form or by accepting an offer.
  • After the invoice is paid, the Provider sets up the school and its admin receives an e-mail invitation.
  • The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of its data, for the Users it gives access to and for protecting sign-in credentials. Each User has their own account; accounts are not shared.
  • The Customer informs us without delay of any unauthorised access to its account.

4. Plans, modules and prices

  • The Service is offered in plans that differ mainly in the number of instructors and locations, the level of support and the modules included. Office users (admin, manager, booker) are unlimited in all plans.
  • Modules (e.g. rental and service, vouchers, membership levels, smart assignment, QR registration) are included or charged extra depending on the plan. Modules are enabled by the Provider at the Customer's request.
  • Extra locations and instructors above the plan limit are charged extra.
  • The current price list is at snowify.sk. The price in the offer or invoice is binding. Prices exclude VAT.
  • When a plan limit is reached, no further instructor or location can be added; nothing existing is switched off.

5. Payment

  • The subscription is paid in advance for the whole Season based on an invoice.
  • The Service is available during the paid Season.
  • If the Customer adds a module, a location or instructors above the limit during the Season, the Provider issues an additional invoice.
  • The subscription does not renew automatically. The Customer orders and pays the next Season in advance.
  • Price changes are announced in advance and apply from the next Season.

6. Availability and maintenance

  • We run the Service on the infrastructure of Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting). The availability of the Service therefore also depends on these providers and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • We resolve outages without undue delay.
  • Planned maintenance is announced in advance in the app; during maintenance the Service shows its expected end.

7. Support

  • Support is provided according to the plan: by e-mail, with priority, or by phone including onboarding training.
  • Problems can be reported directly in the app (Report a problem) or at info@snowify.sk.

8. Customer obligations

  • Use the Service in accordance with the law and these terms.
  • Enter only data it is entitled to process. The Customer is the controller of its clients' and staff's personal data and is responsible for informing them under the GDPR.
  • Not interfere with the technical operation of the Service, circumvent plan limits or attempt to access other schools' data.
  • The Customer is responsible for the content and accuracy of the data it enters.

9. Customer data

  • Data the Customer enters into the Service belongs to the Customer. The Provider processes it only on the Customer's behalf to provide the Service; details are in the Privacy Policy.
  • Each school's data is separated; the Customer sees only its own data.
  • The Customer can export its data at any time (Statistics > Exports; the admin can also export all school data).

10. Cash register, documents and taxes

  • Snowify records the Customer's payments and cash closings, but it is not a fiscal cash register (eKasa) or accounting software. Receipts from the Service are not tax documents and the Service does not issue invoices.
  • The Customer is responsible for its tax, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

11. Suspension and termination

  • If the Customer does not subscribe for the next Season, the Provider may suspend access after the paid Season ends. Data remains stored so the Customer can continue in the next Season.
  • The Provider may suspend access or terminate the contract in case of a serious breach of these terms.
  • The Customer may terminate the contract at any time by e-mail; the Service remains available until the end of the paid Season.
  • When the contract ends, the Customer's admins receive an export of all data by e-mail. Restoration is possible within 30 days; after that the data including files is permanently deleted.

12. Liability

  • The Provider's liability for damage is limited to the price paid by the Customer for the current Season.
  • The Provider is not liable for lost profit or indirect damage, for outages caused by infrastructure providers, the internet or force majeure, for data entered by the Customer, or for damage caused by improper use of the Service.

13. Intellectual property

All rights to the Service (software, design, logo, guides) belong to the Provider. The Customer receives a non-exclusive right to use the Service during the paid Season. Copying, modifying or redistributing the Service is not permitted.

14. Changes to the terms

The Provider may change these terms. It informs the Customer's admins about material changes by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If the Customer disagrees with a change, it may terminate the contract.

15. Final provisions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular the Commercial Code. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of the Slovak Republic. If any provision is invalid, the others remain in force. These terms are effective from 12 October 2026.
